About Your Video
Here you tell us about the video you want linked to you eMUG. You can upload your video to us, or ask us to produce you a slideshow from just photos, a video compilation by editing several videos & photos, into one professionally produced movie and more. If you would like videos produced from legacy material like your VHS or camcorder tapes, photos, slides, cine films and more, please use one of our professional digitisation services.

One or two more videos on your eCARD?
Now you can have 3 videos connected to one eCARD! Video links are URLs to point to an external resource. A video link can be to a video in YouTube or to your own cloud (e.g. iCloud, DropBox). eCARDs with 2 or 3 overall videos/links, come on double sided metal cards. One side will have 1 QR tag and the other 1 or 2.

Your Video Duration
Usually videos of around or up to 5 mins are sufficient and effective with eMUG/eCARD applications. However your video can be up to 10 mins at no extra charge. If your video is over 10 mins please select the duration - a small one off charges for life of your eMUG/eCARD applies.

How many years do you want yours to remain operational (i.e. connected to your video)?
By default your eGift item usually come with 2 years of operational life. However with our launch offer you receive 5 years and depending on your requirements, goals and idea, you can adjust the retention period to suite.

eSTICKERs (5cm x 7.5cm) - Fully configured for your video activation - Stick on almost Anything!
Roughly the size of credit cards and you can stick them on Christmas cards, other gift items, fridge, books, front of your computer, business card, or anything you can imagine. eSTICKERs are good way to share the magic of your eMUG with others, economically.

Standard USB or eCARD+ USB (75mm x 47mm x 3mm)
eMUGs & eCARDs operate when your phone is connected to the internet. USB sticks are handy for situations where you wish to watch your video when off-line or would simply like to have a backup of your video. Why not try eCARD+ cards that operate same as eCARD/eMUG and other eGIFT products. This means you can scan your eCARD+ to access your video or simply plug it in your TV or computer to enjoy.

Would you like a DVD added to your giftset?
DVDs can be a good companion and an added convenience for sharing your video memories. DVDs are printed full-face with key part of your eMUG/eCARD design, for a beautiful set. The DVD also carries the video tag (QR code) so it can double its usefulness.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? IS THE PROCESS TO GET AN eCARD TECHNICAL?

All you need to do is to give us the photos and a name or short message (recipient of eCARD) and evermedia will configure everything for you. You do not need any technical knowledge and everything is done with a combination of email and conversations with us and you will be allocated a Success Manager who will ensure you succeed in whatever you goals.

CAN ANYONE OPERATE THE eCARD?

eCARD was specifically designed to be user friendly and easy to use for 3 to 120+ year olds. All it needs is a phone or tablet that is connected to Wifi. Just open the camera app (as if you are going to take a photo) and point at the eCARD making sure the evermedia's Smart QR Tag is in view... a link pops up and user taps the link and sits back and enjoys the video message. Note that iPhones and iPads already have QR reader built into their camera app and so do the latest Android devices. It's as easy as Scan.Tap.Watch! Simply point any phone's or tablet's Camera or QR reader to Scan the eCARD, Tap the popup link and Watch your special video... anytime, anywhere!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The evermedia Smart QR Tag on eCARD activates a video (your video) served on our network. The magic also happens behind the scenes to ensure a wonderful experience for the user. These include serving your video on high speed video servers backed by high speed content delivery network (CDN). A CDN is a highly-distributed platform of servers that helps minimize delays in loading web page content by reducing the physical distance between the server and the user. This helps users around the world view the same high-quality content without slow loading times. So altogether we provide you and your recipients with a near no wait, no annoying adverts (like you would get if your video was on YouTube). All to make sure a magical experience for the eCARD owners.

DO I NEED AN APP?

No. If the person or people you are sending this gift to, use iPhones, iPads or later Android phones, they can simply use the standard Camera app to scan the QR code. On older Android devices you can install one of many free QR code apps.

evermedia's eyePlayer web app... evermedia has developed a simple QR scanner that requires no app installation and runs right in your browser. Our scanner has been specifically designed with your safety and security in mind. Note that there are limitations on the browser type apps attempting QR scanning which include inability to control the focus of the camera. For this reason when using a browser type app to scan a QR code, please move your phone back and forth (very gently) over the QR code. You need good lighting too. The brighter the surrounding the easier the QR is recognised. Avoid light reflecting directly off the QR code. Specially on eCARDs that have a shiny surface. HOW DO I GET MINE PERSONALISED?
After checkout you will receive a link for uploading your photos and videos for personalising your product.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE I GET MY eCARD?

Depending on seasonal trends you will have your eMug within 14 days (after we receive your photos and video). We do offer Express services if you need yours faster.

WHAT IF I WANT TO CHANGE THE VIDEO POINTING TO MY eCARD LATER?

No problem. eCARD was designed to cater for real life situations. You can submit update for your video or complete replacements for only £12.50.

ABOUT YOUR VIDEO(s), PHOTOS & eCARD DESIGN...

1 - PHOTOS: Ideally only one photo should be used personalise your gift. However feel free to send upto 5 of your favourites photos to give our designers a wider choice.

2 - PHOTOS: The higher the quality of your photos the better. If your photo quality is not of good standard we will let you know.

3 - VIDEO: Ideally your video should be under 10 minutes but longer videos are catered for

4 - VIDEO: Video uploads are limited to 200MB. This should be plenty most cases.

5 - VIDEO - Larger than 200MB Video Files? No problem... a) EverMedia can send you a File Request (a link to click and upload your files) or b) you can use services offered by MyAirBridge.com and send your file(s) to the email address: "ecard-yourname@evermedia.co.uk" - please replace yourname part of the email address with your actual surname.

6 - DESIGN - Have your own design? No problem, just upload it to us for implementation.
